Savion Park, a new Gainesville apartment complex in Innovation Square about 2.5 blocks from the University of Florida campus, has already pre-leased about 30 percent of its units.
The $10 million development on SW 5th Avenue, scheduled to be ready in July 2014, features a contemporary, New York-inspired design to complement the young, active atmosphere in the Innovation Square science and technology community.
UF students and young professionals working in Innovation Square have found Savion Park to be an ideal location as it offers building features and amenities unparalleled by any other local apartment complex. Certain units at Savion Park feature floor-to-ceiling windows with electric track panel blinds, wrap-around balconies, and views of the adjacent Tumblin Creek Park, complete with pond and jogging trail.
Savion Park will reach heights of five stories at certain points and will feature floorplans ranging from studios to four bedrooms in 115 bedrooms in 55 different units. Construction began in late August.
